How do I renew library materials?
Access your account from the library's catalog page at http://mnpals.mcad.edu.
- Click "Your Borrowing Record" at the very top of the page.
- Log on to the system. Enter the barcode number (no spaces) from the back of your MCAD ID card or MCAD library card. Your password is your last name.
- Click "Loans" to display a list of your current loans.
- Renew items as a group or individually.
- To renew ALL of your items, click "Renew All" from the olive-colored menu bar.
- To renew an INDIVIDUAL item, click the orange number for that item on the left side of the page. On the "Details" page, click the word "Renew" (in orange).
- A new due date will be displayed for each renewed item.
Please Note:
- You will be unable to use the online renewal system if your account has been blocked due to excessive fines or excessive overdue materials.
- You will not be able to renew an item if you have exceeded the allowed number of renewals.
How many times can I renew library materials?
Books from the general collection can be renewed once for students and alumni and twice for faculty and graduate students. Most other materials can be renewed twice.
