Interdisciplinary Courses

Hi,

I understand that for many the registration process is done this semester. However, I wanted to send you a note about 2 interdisciplinary courses I will be teaching next semester:

WMM 3010 01 Installation and Performance T 1:00 PM-6:00 PM

and

WMM 5040 01 WMM Advanced Seminar R 1:00 PM-6:00 PM

All my courses are taught from the perspective of multidisciplinary practice, and I lift prerequisites for both of those courses in order to have them open to students working with a variety of media. If you work with multiple media, and are interested in exploration of media-diverse processes, these courses are for you!

I want to especially highlight the Seminar course, which is pretty unique. It is an opportunity to develop two, expansive projects in any media, and engage in a series of in-depth critical conversations around the work. The seminar includes a tightly scheduled process, which is build around the work exhibitions and formal reviews by students and faculty. We also frequently visit local galleries and meet with artists. The more diverse group of media interests represented in the class, the more enriching and interesting this experience becomes.

So, if you are still registering, or are considering adjusting your schedule/registration for next semester, please consider these options.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email me, and I would be happy to answer.

Sincerely,
p.
