Submissions Deadline: February 15, 2018
The UnLonely Film Festival, the first to be dedicated to telling the stories of the public health epidemic of loneliness and isolation, is now accepting short film submissions for its Spring 2018 launch in New York City (and throughout the year 24/7 online).
Our first festival (called Creatively Connected) premiered last May and has since been streaming continuously online. These films are already making a difference with individuals and communities in need, raising awareness and bringing us together to find ways to help.
In addition to the chance of having your work reviewed by Mike Paseornek, president of production at blockbuster studio Lionsgate, accepted filmmakers are also eligible to receive monetary prizes, and an invitation to attend the launch event in New York City. Filmmakers may also have the opportunity to participate in other screenings, conferences or events addressing loneliness and isolation.
