I’m excited to share MCAD’s 2019-2020 Annual Community Report with you. At MCAD, the past year has been about commitment and adaptability. As we look to the future, we focus on resiliency–during these pivotal times, we are finding ways to translate what we are learning about ourselves into meaningful growth at MCAD.
Now more than ever, the role of creative cultural leaders in our communities is critical. An MCAD education fosters a journey of making, questioning, and risk-taking which prepares and empowers creative practitioners to propel culture and society. MCAD is vital to the community as we face climate, social, and economic change. Growing MCAD’s culture of equity has been a top priority of mine since joining the college as president in 2019.
