The Bell Library houses an incredible collection of maps and books that include some of the earliest printed references to paint recipes (Pliny) and which chronicle the complicated circulation of pigments and dyestuff throughout the early modern world. Join the Full Spectrum research group to look through items in at the Bell related to color and its histories including several different manuals on how to cultivate and dye with indigo.
