Dear MCAD Community,
First, I want to thank you for taking your time to participate in the on-line forums that have taken place over the last two weeks. We have had the chance to hear directly from our graduating seniors, non-graduating undergrad students, and our masters candidates. This afternoon we hosted a forum for our MCAD staff. With one more on next week’s schedule for our faculty, we would like to continue these conversations to keep the lines of communication open and support idea sharing within our community.
Second, I want to let you know that the FAQ’s on our COVID-19 web page has been updated to reflect the information recently shared at these forums. In addition there are links to all of the recordings. Feel free to listen to any one of them; they are password protected using your MCAD username and password.
And last, during this time of great uncertainty, we know that each one of you is managing stress and anxiety about so many things, including what the next several months at MCAD will look like. There are important decisions that will need to be made about our upcoming summer programs, the Fall 2020 semester, and broader access to campus. Our goal is to use all of our critical acumen to make the best decisions for our students, staff, faculty, and broader community.
I hope you are doing well and get a chance to enjoy the warmth of spring this weekend.
All my best,
