Studio Kids Teaching Assistants

Monday–Friday 8:30-3:30 (average 20-25 hours per week, maximum of 35 hours)
Continuing Education is seeking Teaching Assistants to work for Studio Kids, our summer art program for children ages 6-12. Studio Kids introduces students to the world of art and ideas through week-long sessions that combine creative themes with fun and challenging art projects incorporating history lessons, drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and collage.
Pre-College Summer Session (PCSS)
July 14-28, 2019
$12.50 - $14.50/hour
Continuing Education is seeking RAs and TAs for the Pre-College Summer Session. The Pre-College Summer Session (PCSS) is a two-week residential program for talented high school artists. PCSS students “major” in animation, comic art, graphic design, or painting, and also take courses in drawing, ideation, and art history. During the evenings and weekends they participate in studio time, off-campus excursions, and activities like animation screenings and game nights.
- Dorm Resident Assistants - up to 34 hours per week, evening, overnight and weekend shifts only
- Teaching Assistants for major classes - up to 34 hours per week, afternoon and evening shifts only
- Teaching Assistants for Observational Drawing classes - around 10 hours per week, morning shift only
These positions are a great way to share your MCAD experience and passion for art and design with talented high school artists.
