The Ethel Morrison Van Derlip Award is given to graduating students who have exhibited outstanding creative ability. The pool of applicants includes Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 graduates.
In 1923, with income from an endowment fund established by Ethel Morrison Van Derlip, MCAD established the Ethel Morrison Van Derlip Scholarship. This award is given to students who completed their formal training and displayed "high personal character, diligence and application in work, and artistic ability of exceptional promise."
