Dear MCAD Students,
As we get closer to the start of the semester, we want to keep you informed of all that is happening. Please let us know if you need any clarification or help.
Housing assignments were emailed between June 19-22. Information regarding your moving in and appointments can now be found here: Housing Information for Admitted Students. Be certain to make your move-in appointment with your Resident Assistant soon!
Orientation for new students will take place the week of August 24. The sessions will be held virtually in order to be accessible to all. However, there will be in-person events for any of the new students who would like to participate. Watch for updates in your email and on this page: Orientation for Admitted Students. There will be additional orientation sessions geared towards new and returning students. These sessions will include topics such as on-campus safety, academic support, and updates to Title IX. Details will be emailed and posted online soon!
Day in the Life of an MCAD Student
We have been enjoying connecting with you each week through our admitted student informational webinars. We hope you have found them helpful. We invite you to check out our archive of past student webinars in case you missed any, or simply are looking to review the information. The most recent webinar What will Fall 2020 look like? outlines the day in the life of an MCAD student and what you can expect from the fall semester.
Upcoming Community Conversation
Mark your calendars for the MCAD Community Conversation on Friday, August 28th at noon with President Sanjit Sethi and a guest speaker to be announced. Everyone-students, faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees-are invited to attend.
New students: be sure to continue to monitor the Admitted Student pages for the latest updates and information as we near the fall semester.
All students: please continue to check the COVID-19 page for updates to policies and procedures.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
All my best to you,
Vice President of Student Affairs
