Job Title: Product Design Assistant Intern

Organization Name: Made For Retail

Wage/Salary: $15/hr

Opportunity Summary: 
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Observe, learn, and participate within our design and art production process, and the role it plays in the product development process
  • Assist designer and production artists across varied programs
  • Attend ideation and line plan meetings for retailer cycles, seasons, special programs
  • Support presentations for retailers – new sales pitches and/or board “posts” for sales selections
  • Competitive and post-cycle market comp shopping, including indexing of product details by cycle
  • Some photography and handling of internal samples
  • Mock up work – both digital and physical mock-up
  • Light interface with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software
