Opportunity Summary: The Gallery Intern will work primarily in Lanesboro Arts' Juried Sales and Exhibition Art Galleries under the direction of the Lanesboro Arts Executive Director, Gallery Manager, and Program Director. Job duties will include promoting and facilitating gallery sales, maintaining sales gallery inventory data, installing and preparing exhibition gallery shows, working with 100+ artists from the tri-state region, and assisting with special events (like receptions, box office at St. Mane Theatre performances, Art in the Park festival, etc. ). The intern will have the opportunity to pursue projects in service of independent artists in the gallery, for example maintaining and improving the online webstore.
- 11 weeks. Includes 4 vacation days within this time.
- The start date is negotiable, but ideally, the intern would begin on Tuesday, May 13th, or Tuesday, May 20th, 2025.
- Full Time (40 hrs/week): hours will be mostly days, but interns will be expected to work some weekend and evening events as per a flexible pre-arranged schedule.
- $2,000 total stipend for the summer.
- Lanesboro Arts will provide housing in Lanesboro, MN during the 11-week internship.

Job Title: WEBTOON Editorial Intern, Content - Paid and Remote
Organization Name: Webtoon Entertainment Inc.
Wage/Salary: $17.28/hr
Opportunity Summary: Our Editorial Team within the WEBTOON Content Department is responsible for sourcing, developing, and delivering WEBTOON ORIGINALS. We’re looking for the next generation of WEBTOON enthusiasts to join us for a 16-week immersive internship where you’ll be working hands on with several of our experienced editors. Students will learn the unique developmental and operational approaches behind each series such as: weekly publication and story structure, the vertical scroll format, genre and audience expectations, and critical readings skills that aid in sourcing and developing new titles. Most importantly, interns will make meaningful contributions to the curation of WEBTOON Original Series in 2025. Ideal candidates will have some experience developing comics or other visual media through their coursework or independently, be fans and avid consumers of a variety of online content, and have some experience in digital content production. Candidates must be eager to work with a diverse portfolio of genres and gain day-to-day experience working with creatives. Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of current trends on social media and pop-culture.

Job Title: Photography Internship
Organization Name: Slow Road Photo
Wage/Salary: $18/hr
Opportunity Summary: Slow Road Photo’s Internship Program provides young professionals with the opportunity to deepen their skills as both an artist and entrepreneur by placing them at the heart of a fast-paced, high-volume Picture Day season with Slow Road Photo. Upon completion of the program, certified individuals will have the tools and training to launch into the photography industry with confidence and a community of supportive mentors and leaders. This apprenticeship includes:
- Photographing daily with a team under the leadership of an expert photographer in a high-volume school setting
- Mentorship and skills development by expert professional photographers, office managers, and editors.
- Upon receiving a Slow Road Certification at the end of the internship, graduates will be posted on our website under a list of our approved photographers.
- Ongoing mentorship for continued support after the end of the internship- we will support these entrepreneurs as they continue to grow!to determine the exhibition design's visual identity, graphic systems, and layouts.
August 1-December 15, with an average commitment of 20 hours per week. The majority of the hours will take place between 7:30-3:30, with some occasional weekday afternoons and evenings as well. Interns must be able to commit to the entirety of the schedule upon acceptance to the program.
