Introducing Eleanor Fuchs, Director of Accreditation and Assessment

Dear MCAD,

I'm very pleased to announce that Eleanor Fuchs will join MCAD as Director of Accreditation and Assessment. Eleanor's first day will be August 12, 2019.

As Director of Accreditation and Assessment, Eleanor's responsibilities include the leadership, planning, and management of institutional research, assessment, and accreditation to support the overall mission and goals of the college. She will report to the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Eleanor Fuchs began her career as a program manager for the the development of the creative economy in Detroit, Michigan. She then transitioned to managing accreditation and assessment for the College for Creative Studies and later for the Columbus College of Art and Design. During that time, she oversaw inventorying and auditing of institutional data portfolios, developed institution-level evaluation protocols, and collaborated with deans and faculty in the development of BFA, MFA, and MDes programs. More recently, Eleanor served as a Senior Content Strategist for Quicken Loans in Detroit.

Eleanor has a B.A. in anthropology from the University of Minnesota and a M.A. in anthropology from the University of Toronto. In her spare time, she enjoys improv and sketch comedy, cooking, and playing with her dog, Clyde.
