I mentioned this briefly in town hall but the printshop is doing a t-shirt screen printing workshop and I've created this form so we can gauge interest in the workshop! Please fill it out by Sept. 20 so we can plan accordingly.
Hi MFAs! Rio is organizing a t-shirt screen printing workshop through the MCAD Printshop and we would love for you to participate! There is a logo that MFA graduate Alejandro Zhang, '21, has designed that we will be using to screen print onto shirts with a little instruction. Or if an MFA student wants to design a new logo, please get in touch with me and we can meet about your ideas. The Printshop will provide t-shirts, paper, photo emulsion, and a COVID-safe work space, you just need to being enthusiasm, patience, and a curiosity for screen printing! As of right now the dates for this workshop will be three consecutive Mondays, where the first two Mondays will consist of printing the MFA logo on t-shirts, and the last Monday will consist of a speciality class if there is a group of students who have a stronger interest in learning more about screen printing. NO PREVIOUS SCREEN PRINTING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. You are welcome to participate in any or all days of the workshop. At this point, I am gauging interest and availability.
Please answer by Sept 20 so we can plan accordingly
