New MCAD Brand Kickoff Week is Here

Dear MCAD Students, Staff, and Faculty,

The time is here: We are excited to roll out MCAD's new brand identity and system. Watch the video introduction here:

Each day this week, the Communications and Marketing Strategy team will share different components of the brand, and outline action items that may need to be completed on your part.

Stay tuned for daily email dispatches. Transitioning to this new visual identity will require the participation of the entire college--thank you in advance for your participation in making this a successful launch.

Today's To-Do Item

  • Order new stationery by emailing the Business Office. The new branded letterhead, various different sized envelope sizes, and notecards reflect the new brand colors and are accented with creative variations on the MCAD lettermark.
  • Department managers should have already sent in new business card needs. DesignWorks will be in touch to finalize your order.

Coming Up--Join us for Info Sessions

Two participatory sessions are set up this week to take a deep look into the new brand and answer any questions you may have.

  • On Thursday, noon–1:00 p.m., the entire MCAD community is invited to join a conversation with the team behind the new brand identity, including designers from creative agency KNOCK. Join via Zoom.
  • On Friday, 10:00 a.m.–noon, DesignWorks will host an Open House for staff to answer any questions you may have on implementing the new brand resources. Drop by anytime during this window via Google Meet.
