Opportunity for Art History Lovers

3rd Annual Undergrad Art History Symposium

We are pleased to announce the Third Annual Missouri Western State University and Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art Undergraduate Art History Symposium.

The symposium will be held at the museum in St. Joseph, Missouri (40 minutes north of the Kansas City International Airport).

Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Mey-Yen Moriuchi, Assistant Professor of Art History, LaSalle University will deliver "Mexican Costumbrismo: Race, Society, and Identity in Nineteenth-Century Art.”

Symposium Date: April 13, 2019
Submission Deadline: March 4, 2019

ALL ART HISTORICAL SUBJECTS WILL BE CONSIDERED
ONLY ONE ENTRY PER STUDENT

To Apply: Students submit their title and an abstract of the paper that is 500 or fewer words
Also include: Their name, address, phone number, email address, school & year in school

Attached documents must be either Word or Acrobat Reader compatible

IF ACCEPTED:
A registration fee of $25 includes lunch on the day of the symposium
Plan to speak for 20 minutes
