This year MCAD will again be participating in a matching scholarship program with Skowhegan, a summer fine arts residency program.  The matching scholarship covers the cost of tuition and is available to advanced undergraduate and graduate students.

Skowhegan is a nine-week summer residency program (June 8 – August 10) for emerging visual artists located in Maine.  Admission to the program is highly competitive and is oriented toward advanced students who are able to work independently.  Applicants must be 21 years old to attend.  Students are provided with studio space, room and board and the opportunity to meet with resident and visiting faculty.  Skowhegan also offers the rare opportunity to learn traditional fresco technique.
