MCAD participates in a matching scholarship program with Skowhegan, a nine-week (June 13 - August 15) summer fine arts residency program located in Maine. The matching scholarship covers the cost of tuition and is available to advanced undergraduate and graduate students.
Admission to Skowhegan is highly competitive, and the program is oriented toward advanced students who are able to work independently. Applicants must be 21 years old to attend. Students are provided with studio space, room and board and the opportunity to meet with resident and visiting faculty.
Students should make an application directly to Skowhegan (the application is online and the deadline is January 10th, 2019). For more information about their program or to make an application, visit: https://www.skowheganart.org/
