Since 2014, MCAD’s Bee Club has provided our campus and surrounding community with hundreds of bottles of honey. Originally, the campus housed two rooftop hives, and later these thriving hives moved off campus to a nearby apiary.
Last year marked the final chapter of MCAD’s Bee Club, and we wanted to take the opportunity to acknowledge all they’ve done to promote awareness of our dependency on pollinators, as well as all the honey they’ve bottled over the years. Special shoutout to Diana Eicher (Director of Printshop and Paper Studio) for her fearless bee-leadership and 10 years of service as Bee Club Advisor!
Art Cellar will continue to sell honey while supplies last.
