You can start working only once the offer letter is signed and the onboarding process is complete in Paylocity
If this is not done then you won't have a timecard in Paylocity
If you have questions on if your process is complete then please contact human_resources@mcad.edu
HOW DO I LOG MY HOURS ONCE I COMPLETE MY ONBOARDING IN PAYLOCITY?
A notetaker is paid for their time spent in class taking notes, and up to 30 minutes outside of class spent editing, typing, scanning and uploading their notes. The amount of time one takes notes can vary by class, lecture and content of the day. For studio classes, this can be 30 minutes or more per class, and for Liberal Arts classes, this can be up to three hours per class.
You can record your hours with the Paylocity App or in the website version of Paylocity
On the website version of Paylocity there are training modules related to timesheets, logging hours, etc.
Remember
Studio Classes = Time spent taking notes such as 30 minutes or an hour, and up to a half-hour scanning, typing, editing and uploading notes after class
Liberal Arts Classes = Time spent taking notes such as 1 hour or 2.5 hours, plus up to a half-hour scanning, typing, editing and uploading notes after class
Timesheets are due every other week.
You will receive reminders from Paylocity when timesheets are due.
It is best to have your timecards done by 10:00 PM on Saturday of the week they are due.
If you miss inputting your time on your timesheet then email accessibility_services@mcad.edu with the hours you worked so you can be paid in the next pay period.
HOW DO I UPLOAD MY NOTES?

Click “View” for the class that you want to upload notes for
In the “Upload Notes” section place in a title and choose the file
Click “Upload Notes”
