A. Rafael Johnson will read two new stories from his upcoming short story collection, For You, Why Should I Cry: short stories. The title story was inspired by the collection Palestine +100: Stories from a Century After the Nakba, a collection of Palestinian speculative fiction, and his first job, caregiving for an elderly rabbi with Alzheimer's disease. The second story, I, Maron James or The Case of Marlon James and the Unidentified Body, is a speculative memoir based on misidentification and anxiety.
