Hazing is any explicit or implicit act that is a condition of recruitment, admission, or affiliation for new or continued membership with a group, team, or organization. This includes subjecting individuals to humiliating, harmful, or reckless treatment or tasks, or intentionally endangering their physical or mental health.
MCAD strictly prohibits any forms of hazing on or off campus. Any reports of hazing will be investigated as a code-of-conduct violation per the Student Handbook. Students found in violation of this policy will be subject to disciplinary procedures and sanctions.
