Come Celebrate Spring at Mia with Art in Bloom, their yearly event which showcases imaginative floral interpretations of selected works of art from Mia’s permanent collection, created by more than 100 individual and commercial florists.
Free and open to everyone, Mia welcomes you to experience the floral beauty and fragrance throughout the museum and connect with community through creative activities.

The MCAD Theatre Club invites you to a showcase of songs from the Broadway Hit, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, as directed by Club Leaders Lisa Om and Aziz Kuhn. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., Showtime at 7:00 p.m. on April 25 and 26 in Auditorium 150. All are welcome!

Art to Change the World (ACW) Annual Beacon of Light Event will Premiere Eight, 15-Second Animated Shorts featuring the Fall 2025 Animation Collaboration Class Projects! At the direction of ACW Founder, Barbara Bridges, and ACW Operations Manager, Kelly Frankenberg '03, MFA. Select works featuring music composed by ACW intern Zoe Grigsby. MCAD Animation Collaboration Faculty Katie Nelson & Alicia Allen plan to attend the event and give a few opening remarks to introduce the films.
We look forward to seeing all those who can attend!

7:00 p.m. Screening of the films, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and an awards ceremony.
Tickets are $15 (before taxes and fees) and include the film, networking, and post-screening Q&A. (TCFF Members receive a 50% discount.)

Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., MCAD is hosting its first Queer Resource Fair, where organizations from across the Twin Cities will be present to share information, make connections, and provide avenues of support for LGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff, and the community at large.
This event is free to attend and will feature crafts, games, and activities for attendees.
