The Minneapolis College of Art and Design is please to present a panel discussion with the 2022/23 MCAD–Jerome fellows: Roshan Ganu, Erika Terwilliger, Moira (Miri) Villiard, and Peng Wu. The discussion will be moderated by essay writer Sun Yung Shin. 

This event is in conjunction with the 2022/23 MCAD–Jerome Fellowship Exhibition and is generously supported by the Jerome Foundation.

The Twin Cities are home to a significant number of talented muralists who are also teachers, working with and mentoring youth. This panel discussion will feature four prominent muralist teaching artists:  Holly (Miskitoos) Henning and Thomasina Topbear who are members of City Mischief Murals; Alex Smith, a self-taught artist, designer who is the textile and screen printing lead and free wall instructor at Juxtaposition Arts; and Taylan De Johnette ‘19, designer, visual artist, and co-founder of Creatives after Curfews.
