Join MCAD Librarian March 28th for a trip to hear the Minnesota Orchestra perform Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, based on stories from “Arabian Nights” and Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini for Piano and Orchestra. Tickets are limited, sign up with Allan Kohl in the Library. This trip will meet at 6pm on Saturday March 28th at the Main Gallery for departure. Concert is at 7pm, tickets and transportation provided.

Once upon a time, in a land far far away before Covid, MCAD would host a yearly celebration called The Black and White Ball. This yearly dance party was a chance to dust off the formal wear and let loose at the end of a long school year. Many moons later, I am happy to share that it is once again time to dress to the nines(or whatever makes you feel fabulous) and shake a leg. SAVE THE DATE: The MCAD Black and White Ball is Friday May 1 from 7:00-11:00 p.m., just across the way at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia).
