Voting at MCAD | November 4

Election at MCAD

On Tuesday, November 4, MCAD will serve as the polling place for Ward 10-Precinct 9’s general election, starting at 7:00 a.m. and running until the work of the election judges is completed (usually by 10:00 p.m.). Polling will take place in the College Center.

Intent to Graduate Forms for May 2026 Available Now!

This message is for all students who plan to complete their degrees in May 2026, and staff and faculty who are assisting them with planning as they finish their programs.

Intent to Graduate Forms are available to be submitted now!  Students can find the form on myMCAD on the Records Office tab under Online Forms.

The advising period is an ideal time to submit these forms, as you look ahead and plan your final degree requirements.

Reminder: Deadline To Withdraw From Fall 2025 Courses Is Friday, November 14

Hello everyone,

This is a reminder that the deadline to withdraw from a Fall Semester 2025 course and receive a notation of W is Friday, November 14 at 5:00 p.m.

If you plan to withdraw from a Fall 2025 course and have not already done so, be sure to submit a Course Withdrawal form immediately.  Forms are available on myMCAD.  Students can locate them on the Registration tab.

It provides limited financial assistance to currently enrolled students who are unable to meet expenses due to unforeseen hardship, including temporary housing, food supplies, transportation, mental health support, and other essentials. Students must also have exhausted financial aid available to them. Award amounts vary based on need and availability of overall funding dollars. Maximum request is $500.

Advising and Registration: When to Cross the Veil
The most important dates of your academic afterlife are just around the corner! Mark your calendars, or better yet, carve them into a pumpkin:

  • Declared Students with 30+ credits: Tuesday, November 4th
  • First Year (less than 30 credits) and all Undeclared Students: Wednesday, November 12th

How to Prepare for Your Advising Appointment (Don't Be a Ghoul)
Please follow the steps below. Failure to prepare may result in a horrifying advising session.
