Vince Staples, Washed Out, Cory Wong, photowalks, Q&As, panels, talks and so much more. MODE is a three-day festival for Minneapolis photographers and creators who want something real.... and MCAD is showing up in force.

Picture this: You start the day with a sunrise photowalk. Catch a photojournalism panel over coffee. Test bleeding-edge gear after lunch. And end the night at a Vince Staples concert with people who actually understand why we love photography.

Submit to the Ace Attorney Club zine this Fall!

We accept work of any medium (comics, prose, animation, even sound/music!) and tones from very silly and unserious to dead like Mia serious.

The form is open the whole semester, and will be printed in the Spring!

UPCYCLED FILMS will be collaborating with NOWNESS, on a curatorial project, to promote our new film platform.

UPCYCLED FILMS will be an online, film programming platform that restores and revives old and lost short films from around the globe. I’m essentially providing access to vintage films that have not been seen by a wider audience. The solution is to highlight films from the Global South, Indigenous peoples worldwide, under-resourced communities, and films, overall, that have a potent, visual language made pre 2010s.

Dear MCAD Students,

I’m pleased to open the eighth annual Presidential Correspondence Award Competition. I encourage you to participate in this year’s round of submissions.

This competition is a chance to have your work featured on MCAD notecards, which I use throughout the year to stay in touch with colleagues, supporters, and partners. It is a great opportunity to have your work shared with a wide audience. I know the recipients appreciate receiving great examples of the creativity that takes place on campus.
