Required Food Plan for Residential Students

Residential Student Dining Plan

MCAD recognizes the importance of healthy eating and easy access to food for academic success. While MCAD’s residential apartments provide fully equipped kitchens, MCAD also has a full-service, on-campus Cafe serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Resident students are required to purchase a declining-balance dining plan, referred to as Dining Dollars, for use in the MCAD Cafe or at the Micro Market. The plan will be charged each semester along with tuition and MCAD apartment rent.

Required Food Plan for Residential Students - starting Fall 2021

MCAD recognizes the importance of healthy eating and easy access to food for academic success for students. While MCAD's residential apartments provide fully equipped kitchens, MCAD also has an on-campus cafe serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks on weekdays during the academic year. To promote healthy eating habits, resident students are required to purchase a $1,400 per semester declining balance food plan to be used in the MCAD Cafe. The plan will be charged each semester along with tuition and MCAD apartment rent.

Information on Pitches and Prizes

  • Pitches are strictly limited to  a 5-minute video pitch and a 1-minute live summary, followed by 4 minutes for Q&A. Be sure to practice and time yourself. While teams may apply, we suggest you choose one individual to present and then invite the whole team to answer questions.
  • Judges from the community, including entrepreneurs, changemakers, and MCAD alumni will select the top three winners.
