ARTstor
Database of digital images of art, architecture, and design, including MCAD\'s digital teaching collection. Images can be searched and viewed online or exported for use in presentations.

AskArt
Search for American artists from contemporary to the 16th century. Includes biographical information, references, and images.

CAMIO
Online collection of digital images of works of art from around the world, from prehistoric to contemporary times, representing the collections of prominent museums.

OAIster
Search for records of digital resources from open-archive collections around the world. Most records contains a link to the archived image.

Clip Art Books
Located in the Visual Reference area. Copyright free! Overnight checkout.

Stock Photography Books
Wide range of high quality images. Located in the Visual Reference area. Overnight checkout.

Picture File
Images for a very wide range of topics. Images are arranged alphabetically by subject. See index binder for a list of subjects. Located in the filing cabinets near the DVD collection. 1 week checkout.

General Collection Books
Use the online catalog to search for books on artists, movements, time periods, subjects, etc. Use the call number to find specific books and/or to browse books about similar topics. 4 week checkout.

Periodicals
Art and design journals, as well as general interest magazines. Current issues are located along the south wall; older bound issues are in Stack Room 1. In-library use only.

Reference Books
Our reference books are frequently an excellent source of images. Browsing is encouraged! Located near the front of the main reading room. Some good sources to try:
