Motor Vehicle Theft, 2/24/25
On Monday, February 24, 2025 at 5:52 p.m., a motor vehicle theft from Lot C was reported to MCAD Campus Safety. In reviewing video footage, at 4:53 p.m., two males entered the lot on foot from the hill near 2450 & 2550 residence halls, and immediately approached a white Kia Sorento in the lot.
Access to the Kia was successful and at 4:56 p.m., the vehicle left the lot, breaking the Exit Gate and, heading southbound on 2nd Ave. Minneapolis Police were notified of the incident. The incident is currently under investigation.
