Which Version of Me Is Present?

This exhibition by Diana Kolir explores memory, identity, and displacement through the lens of war and immigration. A refugee from Kurakhove, Ukraine—now occupied since January 2025—she reflects on the surreal duality of being physically in the U.S. while mentally tied to her war-torn home.

Through pages from her graphic novel, oil paintings, digital posters, and altered news photography, Diana captures the fragility of life and the search for belonging between two worlds.
