The Twin Cities are home to a significant number of talented muralists who are also teachers, working with and mentoring youth. This panel discussion will feature four prominent muralist teaching artists: Holly (Miskitoos) Henning and Thomasina Topbear who are members of City Mischief Murals; Alex Smith, a self-taught artist, designer who is the textile and screen printing lead and free wall instructor at Juxtaposition Arts; and Taylan De Johnette ‘19, designer, visual artist, and co-founder of Creatives after Curfews.
