FERPA is a federal law requiring educational institutions to protect the privacy of student education records.
The U.S. Department of Education also publishes information at studentprivacy.ed.gov defining FERPA and offering additional guidance for postsecondary students.
This information was previously posted in August and is being repeated for the benefit of students, faculty, and staff who are new to MCAD this semester.
