Clubs! Clubs! Clubs! Time to Register your Clubs!

Creating or participating in a club on campus is a great way to build community and make connections. Clubs can be as formal or as casual as you like. They can center around a hobby, a favorite fandom, sports, music, cultural identity, anything that you are excited to celebrate and share. They are fully student run, and Student Affairs is here to help!

SO, do you want to run a Student Club on campus? Here’s what you need to do:
  • Fill out the Club Registration Form (both old and new clubs need  to fill this out!) Filling out this form establishes your club as an official student organization on campus, and all the perks that come with it: Getting listed on the MCAD Student Club List, access to club funding, priority access to room reservations, conditional access to van reservations, promotional support and more!
  • Read the MCAD Club Handbook! This document contains everything you need to know about running a club. Have club questions? Reach out to Kate Gunther, Student Experience Coordinator(kgunther@mcad.edu)
Important Club Dates:
  • Club/Club Fair Info Session, Thursday, September 3 (12:15-1pm, Remote) I encourage all club leaders and any one interested in clubs to attend. I will go over club resources, how-tos, and Club Fair expectations. It will be a relaxed space to ask questions and say hello.
  • Club Fair! Save the Date, we will be having a Club Fair, Wednesday September 9, 12:00-1:00 p.m. on the MCAD Lawn. For club leaders, Club Fair is your opportunity to promote your club and gather contact info of students who would like to participate! Students, it’s your chance to see what clubs are out there and introduce yourself.

Club Fair will take place on the MCAD Lawn(weather permitting). Lunch will be provided for all! Welcome Weenies (meat and vegetarian), plus sides and treats.
(Note: Because of this, the Cafe will be closed for lunch Wednesday September 9, but the Micro Market is available and a free lunch is on us! Come to the Cookout!)
