This scholarship competition is designed for students who are currently enrolled full-time in an MCAD degree-seeking program. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or better is required to enter. *Students receiving VA Yellow Ribbon or the Tuition Exchange/Waiver award are not eligible to compete in merit scholarship competitions.
Merit Scholarship Awards will be added to existing financial aid.

MCAD is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Self-Portrait Contest! Submit your best 9" x 12" self portrait in any medium by Wednesday, March 25. Three winners will be chosen to receive $100 Art Cellar Gift Cards and their self portrait displayed on campus! All entries will be included in a larger, digital gallery.
Submitted images of artwork should be .jpg or .png, and at least 300 DPI.

The MCAD community has come together to create a Mutual Aid Resource Center in the Studio Stace on the second floor, across from the Service Bureau. If you are in need of food, toiletries, and other necessities, please come to the studio space and collect what you need. If you are able to donate, please bring food, hygiene products, and toiletries. Campus safety has asked that all donations be brought in by someone with MCAD badge access.

Millie (5 month old Golden Retriever) has been getting used to life at MCAD with Kate Goodman, Director of Student Counseling and Wellness. Millie loves to have friends stop by for cuddles and treats and will be available during the noon hour Mon-Fri in Kate's office (M06). SCWC will also be welcoming a few Certified Therapy Dog volunteer teams this semester.
