Opportunity Summary: As a(n) Video Production Intern, you will be part of SpartanNash’s Internship Program. At SpartanNash, our Internship Program is designed to give exposure to the grocery and distribution industry, be engaging in real-world problem-solving, and be immersive in social and educational opportunities with other interns. The internship is a paid, full-time summer opportunity from May 19th, 2025– August 8th, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Video Pre-Production (Storyboarding, communicating with vendors, communicating with internal associates for filming, location scouting, building call sheets)
- Video Production (filming, PA duties, lighting, sound)
- Video Post-Production (editing film, building various length cuts, working with internal partners to proof and ship deliverables)
- Video Archiving (saving, tagging, uploading to asset management systems)
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned (assisting creative team with video production)
- To collaborate with cross functional teams to contribute to its objectives
- Responsible to complete or participate in at least one strategic project (Capstone Project) during the internship and possibly give a short presentation to the executive team that showcases the project
- Participate in learning opportunities that may include tours of our warehouses and retail stores, a community service event (such as SpartanNash Expo, Helping Hands, or Special Olympics)
- Attend weekly professional development workshops for developing skills, team building, etc.

Job Title: Graphic Design and Production Intern

Opportunity Summary: As a member of the Marketing team at the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF), the Graphic Design and Production Intern will report to the Digital Media and Design Specialist. The Graphic Design and Production Intern will get the opportunity to create impactful and authentic designs that promote Medora through a variety of mediums to reach our consumers. A successful intern candidate would also have prior experience creating photo and video assets. Above all, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with creativity and integrity to produce high quality marketing pieces.
Essential Functions:
- Manages the creation and distribution of the Weekly Event sheet and other Medora related print pieces.
- Produces design and marketing needs for service request forms from external TRMF departments.
- Assist in managing Crowdriff, Brightsign, and other marketing related tools.
- Create graphics for Medora.com, organic social media, paid social media, and other digital placement ads.
- Shoots and edits Medora related promotional videos and branded content that will be published on social media pages and Youtube.
- Brainstorms new and creative ways to reach consumers through video projects, design concepts, and innovated marketing practices.
- Part of the marketing street team to engage with guests at a grassroots level.
- Maintains positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Participates in workplace safety training sessions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Title: Theatre Internships
Organization Name: The Kalamazoo Civic Theatre

Opportunity Summary: We are seeking interns to join us for our 97th Season. The Kalamazoo Civic Theatre has a one-of-a-kind Intern Program, which dates back to 1945. Interns gain valuable design, fabrication and production experience over the course of our twelve (12) show season. All positions are $500 per week, plus housing. Health benefits are also available. These are twelve months contracts, beginning in June, 2025, with a possible one-year extension. STAGE MANAGEMENT INTERN: will develop stage management skills under the supervision of the Production Stage Manager. Intern will manage up to six productions, working with professional staff, designers, volunteer actors and running crews.
SOUND DESIGN INTERN: will actualize up to six (6) sound designs per season, with optional training in lighting design. Will also assist with lighting, sound, video, SFX, and maintenance for three venues including a traditional proscenium and two flexible spaces. Equipment/Software includes: Yamaha QL5, Shure Wireless Microphones, QLab, Logic, OBS, and Vectorworks.
LIGHTING DESIGN INTERN: will complete up to five (5) lighting designs per season. Will also assist with lighting, sound, video, SFX, and maintenance for three venues including a traditional proscenium and two flexible spaces. Equipment/Software includes: ETC Consoles, QLab, Digital Cyc, Vectorworks, Lightwright and Photoshop.
COSTUME DESIGN INTERN: will develop skills in design, patternmaking, cutting, and costume crafts working with the Resident Costume Designer. Opportunities to design up to five (5) shows and stitching on all productions. Excellent sewing skills required. Draping skills a plus.
TECHNICAL DIRECTION INTERN: will train under the supervision of the Technical Director and work with professional carpenters in our fully equipped scene shop. Intern will have opportunities to further develop carpentry, and TD skills in our 500-seat proscenium, 190-seat black box and 100-seat studio.
Housing is offered, but note that the offer is a one-year contract
