Opportunity Summary: Seeking Digitization Assistant, Publications. Location is the History Center - 345 W Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55102. Full-time, regular (approximately 2,080 annual hours) position. Benefits; Eligible to participate in the State Employee Group Insurance Program and a retirement program with employer contribution. Generous vacation and sick time accruals with additional paid holidays.

Job Title: Teaching Artist

Organization Name: Upstream Arts

Wage/Salary: $19-26.50/hr + PTO

Opportunity Summary: Teaching Artists teach “off-site” at various schools, day programs, community centers, and other spaces where people with disabilities receive services, in classrooms, meeting rooms, and occasionally random spaces. Our weekly meetings and trainings are on-site at Upstream Arts office in the Pillsbury House + Theater building in South Minneapolis, unless they are designated virtual meetings, which take place via Zoom. Teaching Artist teams are equipped with “gear boxes,” that include all the supplies needed to deliver Upstream Arts’ curriculum, such as painting / drawing supplies, assistive technology, musical instruments, and more. Teaching Artists are not required to bring any additional supplies to their residencies. In all residencies, Teaching Artists are expected to wear a provided Upstream Arts Artist t-shirt. This is part-time work. How many hours an individual Teaching Artist is offered depends on an individual’s availability and how it aligns with the program schedule created with our partner organizations. An Upstream Arts Teaching Artist may expect to work 2 hours per week for each residency they are assigned (most beginning teaching artists teach 3-4 residencies per semester), plus 2 hours per week of training and meeting time as it aligns with organizational capacity.

Job Title: Social Media and Marketing Intern

Organization Name: Twin Cities In Motion

Wage/Salary: $1500/mo

Opportunity Summary: The Twin Cities In Motion (TCM) Internships serve as part of a high caliber team that plan and execute the region’s premier running events. TCM is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that hosts world-class running events. We offer event platforms that invite everyone to experience the love of moving, whether you are a participant, supporter, spectator, or part of the community. The Social Media and Marketing Intern is a part-time position that assists with the execution of social media content, customer service and website and TCM app administration. This position will report to the Social Media & Digital Engagement Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media customer service

  • Stay up to date with social media trends and create graphics, assets, and campaigns in response

  • Assist in development and execution of social media strategies

  • Draft, manage and monitor social media campaigns for various audiences using appropriate tone and branding 

  • Track and report website and social media analytics

  • Draft and edit TCM app content 

  • Assist with TCM website edits 

  • Help design community and event marketing outreach strategies including booth staffing, materials, logistics and messaging

  • Support brainstorming and execution of tactics to meet marketing and experience team goals

  • Coordinate special projects and assist in office tasks as directed

Job Title: Resident Artist

Organization Name: Bethel Horizons

Wage/Salary: $1500/mo

Opportunity Summary: As the Resident Artist, this person is the artistic resource person for all summer groups. This position includes leading and creating art activities, providing counselors with resources they can use with their groups, and being a part of the Bethel Horizons community. The Artist will also be responsible for documenting campers’ experiences though photography. Food and Lodging provided throughout the time of employment. The ability to meet each camper where that camper is at with the four harmonies of Bethel Horizons: God, Self, Others, and Nature.

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Lead groups of campers with art activities.

  • Maintain, clean, and organize the Art Shack.

  • Provide resources to counselors so that they will be able to use and facilitate during their down time with campers.

  • Create and explore new art activities for campers.

  • Document the experiences of campers through photography.

  • Manage Bethel Horizons Social Media Accounts.

  • Assist with daily job assignments assigned at the beginning of the week.

  • Assist with children as necessary – behavior management and counselor relief.

  • Assist with programs and campfires.

  • Other duties as assigned by summer Program Director and Program Coordinator.
