Job Title: Video Media Production Intern

Opportunity Summary: If you’re interested in being a Video Editor/Animator intern at Bader Rutter, you need to be fearless and ready to bring ideas to life through motion. We're seeking an enthusiastic intern to support the Media Operations team, including audio & video production and master control. We see internships as a great opportunity to bring new perspectives into our team, as well as recruit future employees into our department. As we provide interns with professional development, they provide us with an extra set of hands-on tasks that require additional help. We pride ourselves on nurturing interns as part of our talent pipeline. Our goal is for you to be exposed to all aspects of audio & video production planning and execution. Opportunities will exist to develop specific skills related to equipment setup and configuration, signal flow, interaction with artists and artist management, audio mixing, video editing, camera operation, distribution systems, and master control.
Required Qualifications:
Enrolled undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduates (within the past 18 months)
Able to work 9:00 - 5:00pm central; Monday - Friday with occasional nights and weekends
Must be able work in the office (St. Paul, MN) at least 2 days per week
Classes or strong experience with audio or video equipment, including microphones, analog and digital processing, studio/venue systems, and stage setup
Familiarity with professional audio/video equipment and standard cabling types and uses
Ability to learn while doing. This is a working position and interns will be expected to move equipment and work side by side with Technical Directors under deadline.
Professionalism is required, this is not a backstage pass or access to your favorite band on tour

Job Title: Designer - Creative Intern

The Creative Intern supports the visual and conceptual side of drone light show development. You’ll help design what the audience sees, working with shapes, motion, timing, and narrative—while learning how creative ideas translate into executable drone formations. Pixis Drones, LLC. creates breathtaking drone shows that illuminate the night sky. We blend creative storytelling with entertainment to create aerial art displays of words, logos, and images that leave a lasting impression with audiences.
Required Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Motion Design, Digital Media, Experiential Design, or related field
Strong interest in motion, timing, and visual storytelling
Familiarity with tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, After Effects, or similar (any level)
Comfortable thinking visually in 3D space
Curious about how creative ideas translate into real-world systems
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented and comfortable iterating on feedback
Positive, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment
