You’ll work in a fast‑paced, highly creative environment where you’ll contribute to real product development, learn industry‑standard tools, and gain hands‑on experience transforming concepts into production‑ready digital assets. You’ll partner closely with cross‑functional teams, rapid prototyping labs, and model shops, seeing firsthand how ideas evolve from sketch to physical product.
What You'll Bring:
1–2 years of experience in sculpting, 3D modeling, art, animation, or product development.
Strong understanding of anatomy, form, proportion, and overall design sensibilities.

Job Title: Game Development Intern - AMG

Wage/Salary: $20/hr
Opportunity Summary: The Game Development Intern will support members of the Development Department in creating game content for Star Wars: Legion. The intern will assist the Lead Developer with file creation, organization, playtest (both internal and external), and concept creation and implementation.

Job Title: Hybrid Education Internship
Organization Name: Minnesota Center for Book Arts
Wage/Salary: $800 stipend, and one-year membership to MCBA
Opportunity Summary: Join our collaborative team and play an important role in shaping our work! We’ve developed a vibrant series of virtual and in-studio book arts workshops and community programs; we are looking to grow our programs and share book arts in Minnesota and beyond. MCBA Education Interns will support the education team with a combination of in-person and remote projects. Learn about and gain experience in our in-person and virtual book arts workshops and community engagement events.
Primary areas of focus include (but are not limited to):
Learn about MCBA’s virtual programs, the online platforms MCBA uses to offer programs (Zoom & Google Classroom), and how our programs are facilitated.
Participate in virtual workshops on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and occasional Saturdays by supporting teaching artists and participants with tech and facilitation needs. This includes: opening the virtual classroom, greeting the teaching artists and participants, introducing the online platforms to participants, providing tech support as needed, and corresponding with workshop participants about virtual programs.
Support Saturday studio workshops and staff onsite at MCBA. This includes: welcoming teaching artists and participants, documenting in-person workshops for promotion, occasional teaching artist support, and various projects as assigned.
Support MCBA’s community outreach programs and gain in-person classroom experience. This includes giving studio tours, assisting with workshops and drop-in printing activities at MCBA and at partner locations, and helping MCBA table at the American Craft Fest in St. Paul on June 13th & 14th. Transportation from MCBA to offsite events is provided as needed. Community outreach programs take place on select weekdays, evenings, and weekends; specific dates and availability to be discussed.

Job Title: Internship: MNHS Press Design Intern
Organization Name: Minnesota Historical Society
Wage/Salary: $16.50/hr
Opportunity Summary: The MNHS Press Design Intern will assist the publishing staff in the areas of print production, design, marketing, editorial and administration. We offer an exciting opportunity to work with staff willing to share their knowledge of the book industry, and also provide unique and independent projects. The intern will be working in an office environment with a mix of computer and non-computer related work.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, or have graduated within the past 12 months at the time of application.
Ideal candidates might be currently pursuing, or have graduated with a degree in the following areas: Graphic design, marketing, business, english, art, history, or communications majors will be considered. Preference will be given to students with a design background.
Working knowledge of graphic design and that field’s associated computer software (Adobe Creative Suite)
General research & communication skills
An interest in book design and production
Top-notch organizational skills
Aptitude/interest in social media/marketing
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Experience with Microsoft Office and the Google software suite are also preferred
