Job Title: Exhibit Fabrication Intern

Opportunity Summary: Minnesota Children's Museum's downtown St. Paul location has 74,000 square feet of exhibits space, in addition to being a leading producer of exhibit rentals for children's museums and having the largest collection of traveling exhibits on the road. The Exhibit Fabrication Intern will assist exhibit production staff in the fabrication and design of exhibits, installation of exhibitions, and exhibit repair and maintenance. Interns will be given the opportunity to exercise and strengthen their existing skills, to develop new skills of exhibit making, and to exercise responsibility, creativity and imagination. The internship requires hours to be completed at the museum.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have working knowledge and experience with power and hand tools and the ability to use them safely. (Examples: table saw, band saw, routers, miter saw, drills, etc. Prior carpentry and machine shop experience a plus.)
Working knowledge of CAD and CNC machines. Services and materials like photos and illustrated images, text is a plus.
Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and their safe usage.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more on an occasional basis.

Opportunity Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Learning & Development Intern to join our team. This internship supports key training initiatives to enhance our Park District's workforce. You will work on meaningful projects, including onboarding seasonal staff, developing mentoring program materials, and contributing to the creation of engaging learning content using basic instructional design – all at a public agency with a mission to promote environmental stewardship in a natural resources-based park system.
The Learning & Development Internship is part of the Three Rivers Park District’s Pathways Internship program. Pathways internships are paid opportunities offered by Three Rivers Park District that provide young people, particularly those facing barriers to employment, real-world experiences to explore a career in parks and recreation. The Pathways Internship Program provides an opportunity to explore a specific career area within the Park District and build career readiness skills with a cohort of interns at Development Days throughout the summer.
Experience and Qualifications:
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Creativity and willingness to learn how to design content using tools like Canva, PowerPoint, Articulate or similar platforms.
Interest in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding Seasonal Staff:
Assist in designing and refining onboarding videos and materials to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for new seasonal hires.
Mentoring Program Development:
Contribute to the creation of content for the Park District mentoring program, focusing on leadership development, peer learning, and professional growth.
Research best practices in mentoring programs and propose innovative ideas tailored to our workforce.
Learning Module Content Design:
Develop concise and interactive content to support ongoing staff training and development.
Utilize creative tools and platforms (such as Articulate, Vyond and Canva) to design content that is engaging, visually appealing, and impactful.

Job Title: Content Creator Intern

Opportunity Summary: KSTP-TV produces 2.5 hours of lifestyle programming each weekday between Minnesota Live and Twin Cities Live, and we are looking for a creative individual to intern with the team as a videographer/digital creator for both shows for up to 29 hours per week. When you work for KSTP, or our other local, independently operated station KSTC, Channel 45, you will find yourself among dedicated, passionate people who work hard every day to improve our product and our community. Qualities or skills desired:
