Job Title: Exhibit Fabrication Intern

Opportunity Summary: Minnesota Children's Museum's downtown St. Paul location has 74,000 square feet of exhibits space, in addition to being a leading producer of exhibit rentals for children's museums and having the largest collection of traveling exhibits on the road. The Exhibit Fabrication Intern will assist exhibit production staff in the fabrication and design of exhibits, installation of exhibitions, and exhibit repair and maintenance. Interns will be given the opportunity to exercise and strengthen their existing skills, to develop new skills of exhibit making, and to exercise responsibility, creativity and imagination. The internship requires hours to be completed at the museum.
Ideal candidate:
- Must have working knowledge and experience with power and hand tools and the ability to use them safely. (Examples: table saw, band saw, routers, miter saw, drills, etc. Prior carpentry and machine shop experience a plus.)
- Working knowledge of CAD and CNC machines. Services and materials like photos and illustrated images, text is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and their safe usage.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more on an occasional basis.
Essential functions:
- Assist in fabrication of exhibit components.
- Assist in exhibit design process.
- Install/uninstall traveling exhibits.
- Clean, repair, and maintain museum exhibit components.
- Assist in maintaining exhibit shop.

Opportunity Summary: The Polaris Marketing Internship (MIP) is a tailored 12-week paid summer internship designed for emerging sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in a leading global powersports industry. As a Marketing Intern, you will be given impactful project-based assignments that directly align with business objectives.
This program serves as a primary feeder into our rotational leadership development program, providing you as an intern with the foundational skills and experiences needed to excel in your career. Required Qualifications:

Our companies serve very different audiences—from patients, parents, caregivers, and clinicians to homeowners, maritime operators, students, business owners, and local communities. Each company needs content that reflects its distinct voice while making complex ideas clear, useful, and engaging.
You may work primarily with one portfolio company or support content projects involving several businesses. Potential assignments may include social media, newsletters, articles, videos, educational materials, executive communications, customer stories, recruitment content, or broader brand-development initiatives. This is not an observational internship. You will own meaningful content projects, collaborate directly with operating teams, and produce work intended for publication and real-world use.
What You’ll Do:
- Depending on portfolio needs and your experience, responsibilities may include:
- Researching and developing content about portfolio companies, customers, industries, and communities
- Creating social-media posts, articles, newsletters, graphics, presentations, and short videos
- Helping manage and grow company social-media channels
- Developing and maintaining editorial calendars
