Job Title: Graphic Design Intern

As a Graphic Design Intern, you'll work closely with our talented creative team, social media specialists, and content creators to develop and execute creative solutions across a variety of platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Graphic Designer, Senior Social Media Specialist, and other internal partners to conceptualize and execute graphic design projects that align with marketing strategies. 

  • Design and produce a variety of digital and print assets, including social media graphics, email templates, website visuals, presentations, and promotional materials.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining a digital asset library of templates, graphics, and other design resources.

  • Support content creation efforts by conceptualizing and designing visuals for video, photography, and social media campaigns.

  • Stay up-to-date on design trends, competitor activity, and platform best practices to ensure fresh and relevant creative output.

  • Partner with analytics teams to evaluate the performance of design assets and adapt creative strategies to optimize engagement and effectiveness. 

  • Push creative boundaries while maintaining brand consistency and standards.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design tools. Familiarity with Premiere Pro and After Effects is a bonus.

  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.

  • Familiarity with social media trends and digital marketing strategies is a plus.

  • A collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • A curious and proactive approach to learning and staying ahead of design and digital trends.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects under guidance.

  • Receptive to feedback and able to adjust work accordingly. 

  • A sense of ownership and pride in your work and its impact on company success.

Job Title: UX Design Intern - Summer 2027

Opportunity Summary: The Corporate office internship provides assistance with positions in the corporate office in Grimes, Iowa. This is a paid internship with flexible hours. The individuals selected will be provided with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in their designated internship area.

Job Title: Activision 2027 Summer Internships - Environment Art

Organization Name: Activision Blizzard

Wage/Salary: $30/hr

Opportunity Summary: Activision is looking for talented and innovative students to join our teams for summer 2027. All interns will receive a meaningful project and an unparalleled experience. We’ll provide the tools and resources you need to learn. The challenging and creative work you do throughout your internship will directly impact the team you are contributing to.  All internships will be conducted in-person. Hosting managers will determine when and how often interns work in the office. All interns will have the option to opt into relocation services (flights, trains, or car mileage reimbursement). Additionally, all interns will be provided with a living stipend to subsidize housing, utility, commuting, and miscellaneous costs.  As an Environment Art intern with Infinity Ward, you'll work closely with our team to help build compelling worlds that push the boundary of gameplay, art, and storytelling within the acclaimed Call of Duty franchise.

Program Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program and graduating May 2027 – June 2028 

  • Available to participate in a 12-week internship starting in mid-May or mid-June 

  • Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US 

  • Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts 

  • Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner 

  • Works well with others and contributes to team tasks 

  • Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities 

  • Is engaged, seeks to learn, and is able to manage time effectively 

  • Applicants must apply with a resume and a link to their portfolio/reel to be considered

Requirements: 

  • Skilled in a traditional modelling package like 3DS Max, Maya, or ZBrush (Photoshop, Substance, or Houdini are a plus). 

  • Experience with game engines such as Unreal or Unity. 

  • Strong 3D modelling and texturing skills. 

  • Solid understanding of composition, form, color, and light in relation to crafting environments. 

  • Enthusiasm for participating in the critique process and ability to execute on feedback. 

  • Portfolio demonstrating a focus on contemporary, photo-real 3D environment work.
