All MCAD honey at the Art Cellar will be 25% off for the holidays through 12/23/24.

Activity: We need to upgrade the firmware on our production firewalls.  This process takes about 30 minutes, and a couple of reboots of the hardware.  Afterwards there will be considerable testing that occurs to ensure all services are back up and running.

Affecting:  All internet access on campus, including dormitories.

BackOut Plan: Will be to revert back to the current version of firmware.

Communication/Updates: Will be provided via OmniAlert when the work is complete.

Activity: We will be changing our internet circuit, from our current service to a new service/circuit from the same carrier.  

Affecting: All internet on campus will be down during the outage, including dormitories.  This means that local network service will be available, (i.e. on campus resources, such as printing, etc.) but no internet access will be possible. 

Back Out Plan: If this does not go as planned, we will revert back to our current circuit for internet service.

On Monday, December 9, 2024, a motor vehicle theft from the exterior Hive Parking Lot was reported to MCAD Campus Safety at 9:40 p.m.  In reviewing video footage from 12/8/24 at 1:48 a.m., an individual, appearing to be a light-skinned male wearing all dark clothing, entered the lot on foot from the north alley access, and immediately approached a white Honda CR-V in the lot.
