Thank you to everyone who participated in the Made at MCAD open call. It was a huge success and saw record breaking submissions! Our jurors, Bobby Rogers ‘14 and Fadumo Ali of The Bureau, spent hours reviewing your work to make their selections. 42 artists' work was selected out of over 300 submissions. The list of artists whose work is included in the exhibition is below. Juried exhibitions come with excitement and disappointment, but I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for participating in the open call. It was a joy to see your work.
The artwork that WAS selected is behind the rear gallery walls marked with a "Do Not Take This Work" sign. Installation will begin on Monday, March 17, and finish on Friday, March 21. If we have questions about your work or installation, we may need to contact you during that week.
Please check the list below to ensure your name, title, and material description are correct.
All works not selected by the jurors must be picked up from the Main Gallery from Thursday, March 13 through Friday, March 14. Pickup is self-serve. While we do our best to prevent loss, any work not picked up on Friday will be in an unmonitored space. The Gallery is not liable for any loss or damage to submitted work.
Selected artists, please review the below information for accuracy for your labels. Please email gallery@mcad.edu for corrections.

Bobby Rogers ‘14 and Fadumo Ali of THE BUREAU
THE BUREAU is a multidisciplinary studio and creative media platform. Art, as an expression of love, provides one of the few avenues in which the imagination can be completely unbound. As such, our work utilizes photography and film, design and fashion, research and dialogue, exhibitions and creative experiences to weave the thread of our collective histories. Our distinctive approach to storytelling allows for unique cross-category solutions that merge robust artistic production with critical dialogue. The Bureau was founded in Minneapolis in the wake of local and international uprisings sparked by the killing of George Floyd. The team coalesced around the desire to produce work that reflects the political, cultural, and social needs of those most marginalized in the contemporary landscape.
