Dear MCAD Students-
There are some big changes to our services and resources as we go through a major staffing transition. These changes, especially in turnaround times, may impact how you organize your class assignments or personal projects so please pay close attention to them.
This information has already been shared with faculty and staff.
- All Turnaround Times will be + 2 additional Business Days
-For example, banner prints were 2 Business Days. They will now be 4. - Alumni orders will stay at 5 Business Days
- Vinyl and Paper Die-Cutting
-These services will be suspended for Spring semester. - Appointments are now *required* for non-standard book binding projects
-For books that have things like french flaps, foldouts, special inserts, etc. - There will be fewer appointment and class demo times available each day
-Make your appointments well in advance (up to 60 days!). - Demos required for faculty assigning all-class book or Riso projects
-Failure to schedule a demo before assigning such projects could result in patron orders being cancelled.
It is going to take us time to update our documentation and order forms. Please have extra patience with us during this transitional period. Reach out with any questions!
