Title: Career Development and the Learning Center: Career Readiness Workshop Sessions

Overview: Stressed about entering the workforce after graduation? Worried that your post-graduation job search won’t be effective? Concerned about how to navigate the professional sphere and succeed in the workplace?

This Spring semester, Career Development is partnering with the Learning Center to offer additional assistance and guidance on these topics and more to any interested students (from First Year to Senior) in a casual, conversational setting! Overview: Calling all international students in Minnesota! Join us for an inspiring and empowering webinar with three talented global professionals working in Minnesota. 

We know that February is an active month of career fairs and internship applications. Networking and talking with employers can cause a lot of feelings of uncertainty and nervousness. We know that you bring a lot of skills and strengths as international students studying at Minnesota colleges and universities! 

Get helpful advice as you listen in to this webinar to increase your preparation and confidence for interacting with employers and professionals. 

IMPORTANT: This event is designed for international students studying in Minnesota. Any student or staff member at Minnesota institutions of higher education are welcome to attend. Register with your Minnesota college/university email.

Title: Art Studio Assistant

Organization: Markell Studios

Pay: Starting at $15/hr

Details: Markell Studios Inc. is an ecclesial arts studio presently seeking a studio assistant. This is an entry level opportunity at $15 an hour that can evolve to higher pay. Open to part time or full time. A great opportunity for a recent art school graduate or current student to learn and grow in the area of painting and fine art.

Applicants should be knowledgeable and skilled in acrylic and acrylic gouache painting, demonstrating competence in traditional figure drawing and painting.

Responsibilities include studio organization, paint preparation and clean-up, applying base colors, painting decorative symbols and patterns with the opportunity for more advanced techniques in paint on board and canvas.

Applicants should reside close to Stillwater, MN (Minneapolis-St. Paul area), have own transportation and be able to work weekdays.
