Overview: The Minnesota Children’s Museum is hiring a part-time Galleries Visitor Assistant to provide excellent customer service, maintain exhibits, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for visitors, especially children and families. Overview: This is a rare opportunity to help relaunch an important Minneapolis performing arts venue and shape its technical foundation for years to come. The Technical Director (TD) is a hands-on leader responsible for the overall technical operations of the Cowles Center, including lighting, sound, stage, and related production systems. The role requires both strategic planning and direct technical execution. The TD works collaboratively with venue leadership, visiting artists, and rental clients to advance and execute performances and events at the highest professional standard. They oversee production planning, supervise part-time technical staff scaled to production needs, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain the facility’s technical infrastructure. Organization: Caponi Art Park

Title: Nature-based Art Instruction & Tour Intern

Pay: $15.50/hr

Overview: This 3-5 month internship is ideal for an individual aspiring to teach art, gain experience in nonprofits, and for those who have a strong connection to nature. Interns will conduct guided tours for visitors from age 4 to 94 and lead outdoor nature-based art workshops in conjunction with most tours. Interns will work directly with Caponi Art Park staff to develop skills in using art and nature as a way to communicate and explore the natural world. The goal of Caponi Art Park’s tour and workshop programs is to have visitors gain a new appreciation for art and nature. As part of our Caponi on the Road (COTR) program, interns will be required to travel to locations around the Twin Cities metro area to conduct art workshops. Interns will be required to provide their own transportation and will be compensated for their mileage to the site. In addition, the internship includes assisting with activities and events hosted by the art park over the course of the summer.
