Want to go to Germany this Summer?

Apply for a WorkArt internship! Deadline extended to February 22!

The WorkArt Fellowship Program is a great option to consider if you want to study abroad but don't want to spend an entire semester overseas. Administered through the University of Minnesota's Center for German and European studies, WorkArt offers curatorial internships to both undergraduate and graduate students within Germany's extensive network of galleries and art nonprofits (Kunstvereine).

Update from the President

Dear MCAD Community,

We look forward to seeing everyone back on campus on February 16, and are eager to be together again as a community. We’re planning to serve coffee and treats for students that first day back; stay tuned for details.

As we resume in-person campus life, we continue to monitor federal immigration enforcement activity in our community. We understand that many of you have questions and concerns about how this activity may affect our students, faculty, staff, and campus operations.

MCAD Library

As we move into remote learning for the upcoming weeks, the MCAD Library would like to remind you that they are open, and are a great option if you want to grab a cozy corner and log into class from the Library. They have lots of great study spaces, plus sunshine and plants. The Library also has Seasonal Affective Disorder(SAD) Lamps available to use both in the Library, or to check out and take home just like a book. Ask a Librarian for more on how to check out a SAD Lamp.
