Dear Students, Staff, and Faculty,
We appreciate your cooperation throughout today as we have been navigating the ever-changing, stressful aftermath of this morning’s fatal shooting near campus.
After reviewing the latest information, we have made the decision to lift MCAD’s shelter-in-place. That said, we encourage you to stay home if possible.
We will send updates as needed. Thank you for your continued support of your fellow MCAD community members. We are proud of the care that everyone has shown throughout this terrible day.
Sincerely,
Gwen

Dear MCAD Community,
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Diana Green, Distinguished Adjunct faculty in Liberal Arts, passed away suddenly this past weekend. An alumna of 1999 (BFA, Comic Book Illustration), Diana taught across MCAD's Liberal Arts, Design, Foundations, and Continuing Education departments. She was a gracious teacher and mentor to her students, a generously collaborative peer, and a passionate advocate for her community.

Dear MCAD Students-
There are some big changes to our services and resources as we go through a major staffing transition. These changes, especially in turnaround times, may impact how you organize your class assignments or personal projects so please pay close attention to them.

ICYMI: Our Student Counseling and Wellness Center (SCWC) is now home to a Therapy Dog in training. Millie (5 month old Golden Retriever) has been getting used to life at MCAD with Kate Goodman, Director of Student Counseling and Wellness. Millie loves to have friends stop by for cuddles and treats and will be available during the noon hour Mon-Fri in Kate's office (M06). SCWC will also be welcoming a few Certified Therapy Dog volunteer teams this semester.
