Return to campus: Monday, February 16

Dear MCAD Community,

We are ready to see everyone back on campus next week. In-person classes resume on campus Monday, February 16.

To mark the return to campus, pastries from Marissa’s Bakery, fruit, and coffee will be available on Monday morning before class, at the south end of the Main building, near the entrance from the parking lot. This event is sponsored by one of our Board of Trustees.

MCAD will continue to work with our community partners to monitor ICE activity in our neighborhood. As we return to campus, here are some safety reminders:

• All MCAD buildings and residences are locked 24/7; only those with proper IDs can enter.
• Any visitor to MCAD must be granted access to the building and stop by the Welcome Desk to check in.
• To Do: Make sure not to let others into any building unless you know them.
• To Do: Wa tch out for one another. Travel in groups. Check in with others. Trust your instincts and avoid unsafe areas.
• REMEMBER: If approached by anyone you do not know, or you witness concerning behavior, Contact Campus Safety for assistance. You do not need to speak or engage with anyone or anything you are not comfortable with.
