SAFETY BULLETIN: Motor Vehicle Theft

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 11:11 p.m., a motor vehicle theft was reported to MCAD Campus Safety. The vehicle, described as a white Ford Explorer, had been parked on the west side of Stevens Avenue between 25th St. E and 26th St. E.

Based on a review of available video footage, the owner parked at approximately 11:00 a.m. At approximately 6:20 p.m., a gray four-door sedan with no visible license plates parked several spaces behind the Ford Explorer. Two individuals described as females exited the sedan—one wearing a pink dress and the other wearing brown clothing—and approached the parked vehicle. Due to partial obstruction in the camera view, specific actions are not fully visible; however, at approximately 6:45 p.m., the Ford Explorer was observed leaving the area southbound on Stevens Avenue, followed by the gray sedan. Both vehicles were last seen traveling westbound on 26th St. E and then northbound on 1st Avenue South.

This incident is under investigation. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Campus Safety.
